What the Seat Belt Reminder Light Means
The seat-belt reminder on a your car lights (often with a chime) when a front occupant is unbelted. If it stays on despite everyone being buckled, a belt buckle switch or an occupancy sensor may be faulty.

- Faulty buckle switch
- Passenger occupancy sensor triggered by a heavy item

How to Fix It
